A Soul's Price

My soul-selling visual novel is in the final stage of play-testing and then all that's left is to release it! I've been working on this project for about a year now and I'm so excited for it to finally come to fruition. I'm so thankful for all of the help and support I've received so far, especially KokoIsGod for the art.  Keep an eye out for the release date!

The Story So Far..

"A Soul's Price" is a narrative drama visual novel that centers around two graduate students at ES University. Cordelia Kennett is a philosophy major completing her senior thesis on how much money people will sell their souls for. Her best friend Shirley is along for the ride, despite being a devout Christian and member of the Christian Student League. 

Once Cordelia gets the grant she's been waiting for, she can finally start her project. However, buying the souls of her fellow students and faculty is only half of the project...Cordelia has been waiting for this moment to test out a question she's long been pondering-- 'They say that if you sell your soul to the devil, you'll go to hell forever...but if I sold someone else's soul to get what I want, would my own soul be safe or not?'

Cordelia's story centers on the moral taboo of selling souls and the concequences that come with it.  Cordelia will have to make difficult choices regarding her beliefs in God, goodness, and responsibility that ultimately decide her fate. What is the 'right' way to do things? What kind of 'god' or being runs this world, if any at all? Do souls exist or are these strange things happening by chance?
